It felt like a long day at work. Hope you had a nice Saturday!
Today was a National Day of Service in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., whereupon Americans were encouraged to volunteer for community service projects across the nation.
Incidentally, today was also designated a day for “Guns Across America”, with rallies scheduled in support of the Second Amendment in many places.
Can you imagine what a great place America would be if everyone got as excited about volunteerism and helping their communities as some folks get about their guns?
Speaking of Dr. King, did you know his estate aggressively defends the copyright of the "I Have a Dream" speech?
Speaking of guns, there were three incidents at gun shows today in which patrons were injured by accidental gunfire.
Also speaking of guns and gun shows, an early attempt at closing the so-called gun show loophole is not likely to become law.
STORIES I WORKED ON TODAY

IMAGE OF THE DAY
